An aftermath has been added to the Mershon Chapter’s Rifle River cleanup, September 19. Volunteers may assemble either at Mike Bachelder’s home, by 8:30 a.m., or Troll Landing canoe livery, by 9:00 a.m. Mike, and Todd Zwetzig, will assign beats and spot cars, and you may bring your own canoe or kayak. Troll Landing will provide canoes and car spots for anyone who wants to float and clean. Mike's address is 1040 Gerald Miller Road, West Branch 48661, and Troll Landing’s address is 2660 Rifle River Trail, West Branch 48661. At around noon we all will have lunch at Mike’s, including TU Trollers. . Jac Ford has offered to put on a nymphing demo/lesson. It will cover set-up, rigging, and fishing technique. He will incorporate some of the techniques of George Daniels, a modern day expert on nymphing. It should be excellent for anyone wanting to improve their nymphing skills. It is open to anyone participating in the cleanup. Inquiries to either 989-225-2478, or toddzwetzig@gmail.com.
